EDDIE HOWE is set to leave his role as Newcastle boss after five years in charge. The 48-year-old joined the Magpies in 2021 and led them to the Champions League and the Carabao Cup last year – their first trophy in 70 years. Howe took over from Steve Bruce in late 2021 with the club 19th in the Prem and in serious danger of the drop. He stabilised the team and helped them finish 11th in the table.
