IIITDM Kurnool hosts Doctoral Colloquium 2026 for research scholars

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Kurnool hosted the Doctoral Colloquium 2026, bringing together doctoral scholars from universities and premier institutions across India, on Wednesday. The event served as a platform for research scholars to present their work, exchange ideas, receive expert feedback, and foster academic collaborations.Research scholars representing various universities and higher educational institutions from different parts of the country participated in the colloquium. Participants presented their ongoing research before eminent academicians and subject experts.As part of the colloquium, three distinguished expert lectures were organised to enhance the research capabilities of the participants.The first expert talk, “IPR and Ethical Practices in Research”, was delivered by Y. Srinivasa Rao from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal. He highlighted the importance of intellectual property rights, responsible research practices, plagiarism prevention, and ethical standards essential for high-quality research.The second one, “Future of AI and Computing”, was delivered by C.Y. Ting from Malaysia. He shared valuable insights on emerging trends in artificial intelligence, next-generation computing technologies, and future research opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.The third expert session, “How to Write Standard Scientific Articles”, was delivered by Shivalika from Elsevier Publishers. The session provided practical guidance on preparing high-quality research manuscripts, selecting appropriate journals, structuring scientific papers, and improving publication success.A research quiz was also conducted for the participants, generating enthusiastic involvement and healthy competition among the scholars.
