Another Pokemon event has hit Pokemon Pokopia, and this time the talk of the town is none other than Zorua. Being that Zorua is the one who taught Ditto the transformation ability, it seems only fitting that this Pokemon's event focuses around a game of hide-and-sneak. Hide-and-sneak is a game in which you'll use the transformation ability to attempt to sneak to the Pokemon Center PC without being spotted. If you manage to make it to the PC before you're caught, in a certain amount of time, you'll earn yourself a trophy. When Does The Zorua Hide-And-Sneak Event End The Zorua Hide-and-Sneak event began on July 19, 2026, at 5 AM local time, and will end on July 27, 2026, at 4:59 AM local time. If you hope to earn all the rewards, including the trophy, you'll need to complete at least one game of hide-and-sneak in that time. You cannot time travel to complete this event and earn its rewards. If you miss it, you will need to wait until the event returns, but as always, there's no guarantee of when or if it will. What Are The Zorua Event Requirements Naturally, if you want to participate in the Zorua event, you will need to have unlocked Zorua. Unlike some other event Pokemon, Zorua is not being introduced through this event and is instead a normal Pokemon in the game that you can find by progressing. To participate in this event, you will need to have Unlocked Bleak Beach. Rebuilt the Pokemon Center on Bleak Beach. Welcomed Zorua and completed its requests. Learned the Transformation ability. How To Win The Hide-And-Sneak Contest As mentioned, hide-and-sneak is essentially hide-and-seek with the use of the transformation ability. To begin the event, speak with Zorua outside any Pokemon Center. Zorua will tell you about the event and ask if you'd like to participate, to which you'll obviously reply yes. Once the event starts, you'll be placed in a random location that's relatively close to the Pokemon Center. Zorua and two other Pokemon will be looking for you, mostly in front of the Pokemon Center, and you can identify the ones searching by the speech bubbles over their head. Use Ditto's transform ability to turn yourself into various objects and sneak your way to the Pokemon Center's PC. Once you're close enough to the PC, you'll have the option to interact with it and end the game. You do have a time limit that will determine your rewards, and if you fail to reach the PC within the total time limit, you will lose the game entirely. That said, don't worry about the time limit on your first run. You should only move when the searching Pokemon are facing away and are a safe distance from you. If one of them spots you moving, they'll make a comment about thinking they saw you and come to inspect. Do not move while a Pokemon is inspecting you. It does not matter what object you disguise yourself as, but it is generally easier to move around quickly and without being spotted if you're a smaller object. After a moment, the Pokemon will assume they were mistaken and continue seeking again, allowing you freedom to keep moving. It can be tricky, but take advantage of any coverage you have. I recommend sneaking around the back of the Pokemon Center and coming up the side near the PC, since the Pokemon primarily remain in front of the Pokemon Center. You can participate in this event using link-play, but if playing on someone else's island, only the host player will earn rewards. If playing on a cloud island, only the player who sets the best record will earn the rewards. Zorua Hide-And-Sneak Event Rewards Of course, to earn rewards, you'll need to reach the PC within the time limit. Your time is what will determine your reward. Like previous events, if you earn the top reward on your first go, you'll earn all rewards that fall below that as well. For example, I managed to reach the PC in 17 seconds and earned every reward for the event all in one go. If this happens, Zorua will tell you that they have no more rewards for you, but that you can keep playing if you'd like. Some of the rewards include Lumber, Leppa Berries, Rainbow Feathers, Silver Feathers, Pokemetal Ingots, and Rare Pokemetal Ingots. Finally, if you manage to set a record time that is under one minute, you'll receive the event's trophy. po
