Heavy rains due to Kiyapo trigger river swelling in Masbate town

INQUIRER FILES LEGAZPI CITY — Continuous rains brought by the trough of Tropical Storm Kiyapo caused rivers to swell at Milagros town in Masbate province on Friday morning (July 24). Lt. Col. Michael Lorilla, head of the Masbate 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, said some of their personnel carried students across the overflowing Tajam Bridge in Zone 5 in Barangay (village) Tagbon.
