Located right in the heart of downtown Solvang, about 45 minutes from Santa Barbara, the home was built in 1920. A plaque hangs outside, on the home’s white picket fence, that reads, “Former home of Dolly Parton. Singer, Actress & American Icon.” “Fans, all the time, have been stopping by and with her passing, the flowers are so touching,” Lapp says. In all, there are seven bedrooms and six baths sitting on a little more than a quarter of an acre. You also get your own miniature windmill – an homage to Solvang’s Danish-themed village. The quaint compound can be split up in a variety of ways – whether parents or grandparents take the main house, while the two private ADUs can be used for extended family or caregivers, or an extra means of incomes.
