The pensioner was discovered by officers who were called to a property on Ormrod Street in Bolton at around 8am on Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Formal identification of the victim has taken place and his next of kin have been informed.According to local media reports, forensics teams and investigators were at the scene on Saturday morning. Sections of the property were cordoned off by police tape. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: 'A woman has been charged following the death of a man at Hargreaves House, Ormrod Street, Bolton on Friday 17 July 2026.'Samantha Nuttall (26.05.1977), Bradford Street, Bolton has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody. 'She will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday 20 July 2026.
