The plan is to accelerate the delivery of high-rate, mission-ready hypersonic capabilities at the speed and scale demanded by the U.S. Department of War (DoW).The agreement aims to combine Lockheed Martin’s proven systems integration with Albany’s agile composite manufacturing. The team is also set to pursue upcoming full-rate production opportunities for hypersonic weapons programs, according to the companies.
