Two accused of $5 100 robbery granted bail

Two Bottom Close, Wildey men accused of robbing a man of over $5 000 in jewellery and cash have been granted bail and are due to return to court next year. Mckerie Kimo Humphrey, a 32-year-old general worker, and 20-year-old Jared Robinho Powlett are charged with robbing Tariq Niles Clarke of a chain valued at $2 100, two rings worth $1 500 and $1 500 cash on August 19. No pleas were taken when Magistrate Manila Renee read the charge. Both men were each released on $7 500 bail with surety after no objections were raised. The case was adjourned until January 8, 2027.
