A FORMER doctor and proud paedo who told fellow perverts they were “so hot” has been jailed for nine years. The Michigan man was arrested in December 2025 and after pleading guilty in May, he was sentenced this week to 108 months in federal prison. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! The convicted-paedophile revealed his stomach-churning sex fantasies in a Telegram message exchange with other alleged abusers in the network. Appearing to revel in his twisted depravity, he said: “I love being a pedo”. In another sick admission, reported in ClickOn Detroit, he said: “Bro, I love other paedophiles. So hot.” Special Agent Jennifer Runyan said: “Anyone who [possesses] child sexual abuse material should expect severe consequences, and today, this sexual predator begins paying the price for his actions with more than 100 months in federal prison. “I am grateful for the relentless work of our FBI Detroit Crimes Against Children Squad and our task force officers from the Detroit Police Department for aggressively pursuing those who victimise children and helping to hold them accountable.” Erickson will be required to register as a sex offender as part of his sentence. Most read in The Sun The former doctor was one of four men arrested in connection with a larger child sexual abuse case that began with the arrest of Brett Tooman in Toledo, Ohio. Tooman was taken into custody in March, 2025, after he allegedly travelled to Toledo to sexually abuse whom he believed would be a 7-year-old girl and a 6-month-old infant, the Mail reported. His arrest led to the cops’ discovery of the revolting Telegram messages. The disgraced former medical resident, who worked at Detroit Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, has been behind bars since his initial arrest. It comes as a Wisconsin teacher confessed to sexually abusing a teenage boy and boasting about her crimes with a predatory colleague. Abigail Faust, 25, was caught detailing her sick relationship with a 15-year-old during a police probe of convicted paedo Madison Bergmann. The pair, who both worked River Crest Elementary School in Wisconsin, were caught discussing their alleged hookups with children, according to the investigation. Bergmann, 26, pleaded guilty last year to sexually assaulting one of her 11-year-old students in Hudson. She is now serving a six-year prison sentence. This week, Faust admitted to the abuse in court and said: “What I did was not a mistake or a lapse of judgement.” Comment now
