Three days later, Trump reported buying between $100,001 and $250,000 of Microsoft and between $1,001 and $15,000 of Amazon. The same July 20 entries also show large sales of Oracle and other companies alongside a series of new purchases. Tech stocks saw a market boom on July 20, adding $291 billion in market value in one day.While the filing shows activity conducted on Trump's behalf, broad value ranges obscure his exact holdings. Still, heavy trading has been a feature of his second term. In June, Trump disclosed 1,051 transactions totaling between $78.1 million and $263.1 million, including purchases and sales of stocks, bonds and ETFs.The president's 2025 annual financial disclosure showed more than 21,000 securities trades across eight accounts holding at least $858 million, compared with 86 stock transactions disclosed during his first year in office in 2017. The White House and Trump Organization did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the latest disclosure.The White House has repeatedly defended the trades and said independent advisors manage the accounts without Trump's input. Recent presidents, however, have generally divested individual stocks or relied on blind trusts or diversified funds to avoid even the appearance of conflicts of interest. This is breaking news.
