The Pixel Watch 5’s exclusive faces are coming to your Watch 4

Sign in to your Android Police account Every new Pixel Watch debuts with some exclusive watch faces that eventually trickle down to the older models. Now, with the Pixel Watch 5 being a few months old, Google is doing exactly that and rolling out its new watch faces to the Pixel Watch 4. The latest Google Pixel Watch Faces app update brings the Pixel Watch 5 exclusive faces to the Pixel Watch 4. This includes the Weave, Chronograph, Multicolor Modular, Multicolor Reveal, and even the Stephen Curry watch face, which was initially exclusively available on the Stephen Curry Pixel Watch 5 edition. Google is also bringing the AI watch face maker to the Pixel Watch 4. You can describe a design using a text or voice prompt, and the watch face maker will use AI to generate custom colors, patterns, and stylized digits. While it doesn't let you tweak the layout or generate analog watch faces, it still offers more flexibility to personalize your watch. Based on Reddit reports, this appears to be a limited rollout so far. Hopefully, Google will expand public availability soon. So far, the watch faces appear to be reaching only the Pixel Watch 4 and not the models before that. You may have to wait a little longer for the update to reach your Pixel Watch 4 You can check the Play Store on your phone and watch to see if there is a new Pixel Watch faces app update available. Once installed, check the watch face editor in the Watch app on your phone to see if you have access to the new Pixel Watch 5 watch faces. There are workarounds to sideload the Pixel Watch 5 watch faces onto the Pixel Watch 4. However, the process is a bit tricky and requires ADB and wireless debugging to sideload a third-party app that installs the watch faces. So, it's nice to see Google officially rolling out the new watch faces to its 2025 smartwatch. While there are plenty of great Wear OS watch faces available on the Play Store, first-party watch faces from Google always look and feel more polished. The Pixel Watch 5 watch faces arrive just a few weeks after Google rolled out several notable health features to the Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5 as part of its Health Guardian suite. This includes monthly blood pressure and insulin resistance trends, along with expanded availability of Breathing Emergency Detection to Pixel Watch 4 and 5 users in Europe.
