Ted Lasso teases unfinished romance as fans admit they’re ‘already crying’ over season 4 trailer

IT’S THE trailer that all Ted Lasso fans have been waiting for THREE years – the first look to season four has finally dropped. The cast of the smash hit comedy have reunited and in the first tease to the fourth offering, the show’s followers have gone wild as an unfinished romance looks set to be rekindled. But now it’s back, and in the new trailer for season four it’s teased that the romance between Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) and Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) could be back on. Roy is then seen glancing at Keeley over his shoulder lovingly, as she walks away. Next the pair are caught in a heartwarming moment as Keeley clutches onto her former boyfriend on a motorbike. After watching the trailer, fans couldn’t hide their joy at the thought of Roy and Keeley getting back together. Despite spending the night together, they didn’t reunite as a couple. Meanwhile, also featuring in the trailer was of course leading actor Jason Sudeikis as Ted, and much-loved actress Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton. It was announced last year that Ted Lasso would return to Apple TV+. Actor Jason, who is also the show’s executive producer, said at the time: “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap’, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be. “In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.” The season three finale culminated in Coach Lasso’s return to Kansas, where he was reunited with his son Henry. His long-awaited trip home came after a miraculous end to AFC Richmond’s season, which saw the Greyhounds beat West Ham United but come in second to Manchester City. In the new season, Ted is in charge of a women’s football team.
