When everyone was at home watching the show, it was a pretty big cultural event, and little did everyone know that Baby Yoda would persist in toy form for the next seven years, amid several seasons of the TV show and a feature film. It's become a major fixture of the current Dave Filoni-Verse, as it weaves into multiple stories that are currently being told on TV. It's almost a nexus of the post-sequel trilogy universe, even involving classic characters from the original trilogy and the prequels. Now, the series is poised for another official release. When July 31 hits, The Mandalorian will return again. The long-running The Mandalorian: Adventures board game is getting another expansion very soon, as Asmodee has announced that the Sworn to the Creed box will be dropping on July 31. Here's a quick overview: "Seeking redemption, The Mandalorian must embark on a journey that leads his people back to their homeworld where danger lurks deep within. Work together to complete thrilling missions inspired by season 3 of The Mandalorian." Using season 3 as a backdrop, you'll play through cooperative missions just like the previous two releases, with new scenarios. This expansion adds Grogu, The Armorer, and two other characters to the selectable pool, which previously consisted of: The Mandalorian Paz Vizsla Miggs Mayfield IG-11 Burg Xi'an Cara Dune Greef Karga At this point, all we really need is a Mandalorian & Grogu expansion, and the entire saga of the stories so far will be complete. While Disney will no doubt make use of Grogu and The Mandalorian in the future, there are no more major tales to tell at this point since the TV show has been off the air since 2023. This is the second expansion for The Mandalorian: Adventures, following the release of Clan of Two. That expansion was inspired by the second season of the show, while the original Mando Adventures focused on the first season. Clocking in at a four-player count (with support for solo play), it's an easy way to get a bunch of Star Wars fans together. I've played the first two releases of The Mandalorian: Adventures so far, and it does a good job of capturing the spirit of the show while providing a decent amount of player choice, even in solo.
