Spider-Man's Jacob Batalon marries partner Veronica Leahov: Here's what we know

Did Spider-Man actor Jacob Batalon just get married? According to the latest reports, the 29-year-old, best known for playing Ned Leeds in Tom Holland's Spider-Man films, has married interior designer Veronica Leahov. The update follows recent public speculation over whether the couple had already exchanged vows.The questions grew louder after Batalon and Veronica attended the premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day last week. Batalon was seen wearing rings, including gold bands, on his left-hand ring finger. The speculation picked up further after he joked in an interview with Holland and Zendaya and referred to Veronica as "My wife".According to a People Magazine report, Batalon has married Veronica Leahov. Veronica also appeared to confirm the marriage by updating her surname on her website to "Veronica Leahov Batalon". At the time, they shared pictures from Batalon's New York City proposal and wrote, "The beginning of the rest of our lives together." The two have been dating for several years. Batalon's comment about his "wife" came during an interview with Holland and Zendaya in which the three were speaking about nicknames. “My wife calls me big dog. She doesn't. He said, "I don't know if I would describe it as emotionally taxing," and added, "It was really fun making this movie, and it was really different." Holland said that in the previous films, Spider-Man and Peter Parker had "this amazing support network of lovely friends and mentors and things like that". He said taking that away made the process feel "really different and unique" and added, "I actually just really enjoyed the kind of change of direction."He also joked about being in scenes where the others were having fun while he had to stay sad. "I definitely found it difficult when we were in scenes together, and these guys were having so much fun, and I was supposed to be really miserable and sad because I just felt like I was missing out. I like to have fun. I like to laugh and smile, and I wasn't allowed to," he said. Zendaya and Jacob replied, "But we're still all in the same place though," before Holland said, "Yeah. And you guys are over there with your fu*king new friend."Zendaya then said the tables had simply turned. She said that in earlier films, Holland often had to go away and do Spider-Man scenes while she and Batalon stayed back for the high school scenes.
