SnapLogic transforms SnapGPT into a high-powered agentic assistant for the entire integration lifecycle Enterprise data integration and automation firm SnapLogic Inc. today announced a significant update to SnapGPT, the company’s artificial intelligence copilot for enterprise data automation, transforming it into an agentic assistant. Launched in 2023, SnapGPT provides assistance for users building data automation and creating enterprise-ready integrations. The new SnapGPT updates shift it from a copilot to a fully autonomous assistant for the integration lifecycle, combining platform knowledge, integration-specific reasoning and guidance capabilities with the ability to take conversations about intent and turn them into production-ready solutions. “Three years ago, we pioneered generative integration with the industry’s first GenAI-powered integration copilot, enabling users to create integrations through natural language,” said Chief Technology Officer Jeremiah Stone. “Today, SnapGPT brings that vision forward into the era of Agentic Integration, helping teams across the entire engineering lifecycle…” The company said that SnapGPT now enables companies to begin from scratch, build a full integration lifecycle and implement it. It is capable of planning, building, understanding and operating the pipeline after it is in place. Beginning with Plan Mode, the agent helps teams validate requirements, explore approaches, refine workflows and identify issues before development starts. Once a plan is brought together, the agent can generate high-quality, production-ready integrations in tandem with on-site developers, engineers and business users, who can guide the process. It does this by analyzing existing assets, explaining the outcome of the work, and providing additional insights that teams might have missed within complex integrations. For example, a team might want to synchronize data between business management in NetSuite Inc. and customer relations handled by Salesforce Inc. It is a common need for businesses to combine enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management. A data integration could automatically read updated records from NetSuite, map fields and information into a format that can be ingested easily, then update records or write new entries in Salesforce to keep sales and finance on the same page. “The integration market is evolving beyond AI-assisted development toward AI that helps teams deliver successful outcomes across the entire integration lifecycle,” said CEO and Lead Analyst of Aragon Research Jim Lundy. As more organizations look to combine domain expertise with automation, more enterprise teams are looking to generative AI and agentic solutions that can take their knowledge on page and transform it into production-ready work. Lundy said that today’s enhancement to SnapGPT reflects this shift by extending the AI beyond acting immediately to a type of ongoing teamwork that involves planning, understanding and operational guidance. The new SnapGPT capabilities are available today as part of the company’s SnapLogic Agentic Integration Platform. Plan Mode and visibility into AI-assisted development activity are generally available; monitoring insights with AI assistance into production with diagnostic intelligence will roll out in August.
