Samsung has announced a Galaxy Event for August 27. This time around, we can expect to see Samsung take the wraps off the Galaxy S26 FE, bringing another addition to its premium lineup.On X, Samsung posted a short clip announcing the Galaxy Event for August 27. In the clip – which was generated with AI – we can see three cups placed inside a pill-shaped tray. The cup in the middle is removed to reveal the “Galaxy Event” wording. It is likely that the cups and the tray were a hint towards a new design for the Galaxy S26 FE, similar to what we have seen on the rest of the Galaxy S26 series.Keep in mind that Samsung did not name the device it plans to launch at the event. As per a report from AndroidHeadlines, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will likely come with an updated design with a pill-shaped camera module, similar to other Galaxy S26 phones. You can also expect to see a flat aluminium frame and a flat backplate, with a thickness of 7.4mm. The phone may come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.On the front, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will likely pack a 6.7-inch FHD Plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display may get Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection.The Galaxy S26 FE may be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 processor, which is based on a 3nm process. You can expect to see a 4,900mAh battery – the same as the Galaxy S25 FE – and support for 45W wired charging.Coming to the cameras, the device is likely to pack a triple camera setup – a 50-megapixel main, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and an 8-megapixel telephoto – the front camera is said to be a 12-megapixel unit.Samsung will also likely pack in some new AI features for the Galaxy S26 FE.
