Then again, I never thought that his tortured consciousness would manifest an evil version of Roy Cropper (David Neilson). Weatherfield is a strange place. But that’s exactly what happened when the troubled teen accidentally pushed Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) down the cellar steps when he snuck into the Rovers’ on a frantic mission to find his phone. The battle to expose child predator Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) severely took its toll on Sam’s mental health, pushed to breaking point by harassment and intimidation from the vile groomer. While Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) is under suspicion for the attack, it’s surely only a matter of time before the truth comes out. In Speed Daal, the boy wonder settles himself at a table and is about to enter Idris’s card details into the crypto app… when suddenly Idris appears behind him. Idris retrieves his bank card from Sam. Busted! Deeply embarrassed, Sam explains how he was hoping to make enough money to pay both him back and pay off his debt to Nick.
