Hollow Knight Is Officially Coming To Fortnite

Sign in to your TheGamer account Fortnite just shared a new trailer for its upcoming Fortnitemares event. The in-game event takes place every Halloween and this year, it will coincide with Fortnite's ongoing Override gaming season. In that new trailer, one of the most welcome surprises of the season so far was revealed out of nowhere - Hollow Knight is coming to Fortnite. The relatively short Fortnitemares trailer largely focuses on the likes of Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street, and what appears to be a maskless version of Predator coming to the game. However, there's a brief moment where the nameless Knight from the original Hollow Knight is shown sitting on a bench next to an OG Fortnite character called Guff. The screen flashes to show the Shade version of The Knight, implying both variants will be available when the character is added to the game. The Knight appears to be a sidekick, a still relatively new mechanic added to Fortnite that has come in pretty handy for adding characters that their creators might not want holding a gun. Sidekicks are smaller and follow you around as you play the game. If that is what The Knight is going to be, then they join a group that already includes SpongeBob SquarePants, Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog, and Rush from Mega Man. More to follow...
