Russia Attacks Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia With Drones, Injuring at Least 10

A 23-year-old woman sustained shrapnel wounds. Five other people were treated by doctors at the scene and did not require hospitalization. Around midnight, Russian forces also attacked the Kyiv region with drones. The strikes damaged houses and industrial premises, while a warehouse caught fire following one of the attacks.The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, said the fire broke out at a civilian warehouse in the Bucha district. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) later reported that efforts to deal with the consequences of the Russian attack in the region were ongoing.“During the extinguishing, the enemy struck again. Despite the danger, rescuers continued their work. The fire has now been localized – there is no spread of the fire. Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing,” the report said. Also, according to the DSNS, Russian forces massively attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia with drones overnight. A 32-year-old woman and her 10-year-old son were injured. A strike was also recorded at a shopping center, where a fire broke out over an area of 500 square meters, as well as at an office building, where 50 square meters caught fire.“The elimination of the consequences was complicated by the constant threat of repeated strikes – firefighters were forced to interrupt work and take cover. All fires have been eliminated,” the DSNS report said.
