Rulers Gautam Gulati and Raj Grover were sent to the basement in the latest shake-up on Rise and Fall Season 2, as Ultimate Ruler Shehzad Poonawalla made a series of calls under the Fall Ka Farmaan. With Niharika Tiwari already safe, the spotlight was firmly on Shehzad as he decided who would remain upstairs and who would take the fall.The decisions changed the mood inside the Tower and immediately put friendships, loyalties and personal equations under strain. What began as a strategic exercise in the Red Room soon spilled into arguments, uneasy exchanges and fresh nomination battles, with both the penthouse and the basement feeling the impact.In the Red Room, Shehzad first chose to save Tej Pratap Yadav. He was then asked to choose between two pairs of Rulers, each trying to secure their place upstairs. Raj Grover and Swara Bhasker made their cases first, but Shehzad decided to send Raj to the basement. The next decision involved Gautam Gulati and Irina Rudakova. Despite being friends with both, Shehzad saved Irina and sent Gautam downstairs.The move left Gautam visibly displeased. Tej questioned Shehzad’s decision, while Gautam accused him of jealousy and insecurity. Swara backed Shehzad, and what started as a strategic call quickly turned into a test of loyalty, with Gautam left questioning where his friendship with Shehzad stood. Tensions spill into the basementGautam’s return to the basement did not bring a warm welcome, as old grievances among the Workers resurfaced. Shehzad later tried to clear the air with Gautam and said he did not want their relationship to suffer. However, the conversation took a sharp turn after Tej made a remark about a possible romantic angle. Shehzad lost his temper and pushed Tej, drawing an angry response from him as he said he would not tolerate the disrespect. Gautam then tried to calm the situation, saying the remark had been made in jest, but the exchange left matters even more strained.The fallout did not end there. Sara Gurpal suggested that Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary could find common ground against Shehzad, hinting at the possibility of a new alliance forming amid the tension.Lift of Judgement and nominations The focus then shifted to the Workers as the Lift of Judgement opened for elimination nominations. Shehzad nominated Priyanka, who was then given the power to nominate another Worker and chose Gautam. When Gautam’s turn came, he first named Raj, but changed his nomination to Kaira Anu after she made it clear that she needed no one’s favour. Kaira then nominated Raj, and Raj named Sara Gurpal, a move that triggered another heated argument between Kajal Raghwani and Raj. By the end of the process, Sara and Manish Kashyap were safe, while the remaining Workers were left facing the threat of elimination.Fresh friction in the penthouse and basementBack in the penthouse, tension rose between Niharika and Swara after Swara sided with Shehzad over his earlier remark to Niharika, prompting Niharika to tell her to stay out of it.
