A POPULAR milk product stocked in Tesco, Asda and Morrisons has been urgently recalled over allergy fears. Cartons are being pulled off shelves after “veterinary medicines” were detected. A statement read: “Graham’s Family Dairy is recalling Graham’s Family Dairy Semi-Skimmed Milk because veterinary medicines, including antibiotics (penicillin) have been found in the product. “Graham’s Family Dairy is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product and/or on their website. “These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. “If you have bought the above product, do not consume it. Instead, return it to where you bought it from for a full refund.” The company said in a notice: “This is a precautionary measure we have taken as there is a small risk a trace level of antibiotics may be present in the milk which could cause a reaction to consumers with anallergy to antibiotics.
