The Pokemon Company has slowly begun to trickle out information about it, including the full product lineup, which is already being scalped for up to 7x RRP, and a range of the new cards. The expansion will include a subset of 30 different Pikachus from the TCG's various artists, reprints of some older cards with a new border, including the infamous Paldea Evolved Magikarp, the Gengar Prime from Heartgold Soulsilver Triumphant, and the Crystal Lugia from Aquapolis, and a range of other new stunning cards. There's plenty to get excited about; however, as the cards begin to leak online, one card is causing a bit of a ruckus. Alongside the new FUR rarity type, there will reportedly be an RGB rarity. The one card we've seen to brandish this rarity is a Mew, and it has caused a huge rift in the Pokemon TCG community. The Mew RGB rare was reportedly pulled from a livestream opening, as a handful of collectors have somehow gotten their hands on 30th Anniversary products well in advance of the expansion's September release. The new rarity looks similar to the FUR rares, except with far less personality. The example we've seen features an embossed green Mew on a dark blue background. It looks similar to the Victini from Black Bolt and White Flare, except far less appealing, and it's split the TCG community in two. Some were quick to try and argue against the poster's views, but they held an opinion shared by many. One Reddit user pointed out the colors had been inverted, with Mew's pink turning green and the gold background turning blue, but that wasn't enough to convince the card's haters.
