Mima Alicia MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has identified the two suspects and linked a syndicate to the killing of Mima Alicia, a vlogger who reportedly supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. “We are hot on their tracks. We’re still following them now,” PNP public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co told reporters in a chance interview at Camp Crame on Tuesday. “We’ve identified the suspects behind the killing of the Caloocan City vlogger. Most probably, they are syndicate members or were hired by a syndicate to kill Alicia,” he added. “We’re still profiling them and their previous activities. One of them has multiple prior cases.” Article continues after this advertisement READ: Cops probe online activities of slain pro-Marcos vlogger Co, however, declined to provide further details on the identities of the two suspects and the alleged syndicate behind the killing, citing the ongoing police operation. Alicia was gunned down by a motorcycle-riding tandem early Friday morning in Caloocan City. Co said the PNP was still looking into whether Alicia’s public statements motivated her killing. In the meantime, Co said police were coordinating closely with Alicia’s family for their safety and to prepare criminal cases against the identified suspects. /mcm Your subscription could not be saved.
