Earlier this month it was confirmed four new games would be added to the PlayStation Plus Essential tier – Sniper Elite Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, Chained Echoes – and now Sony has announced the titles coming to Premium and Extra. “This month, master survival and uncover ancient secrets in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, run the squared circle your way in WWE 2K26, descend into the monster-filled ruins of Ballbylon in Ball x Pit, or turn everyday household objects into lovers, friends or enemies in Date Everything!,” wrote Sony in a blog post. The games coming to PlayStation Plus’ Premium and Extra tier this September 2026 are: Date Everything! (PS5) – out now for Premium and Extra Mega Man X Command Mission (PS5, PS4) – out September 15 for Premium Metro Redux (PS4) – out September 15 for Premium RuneScape: Dragonwilds (PS5) – out September 15 for Premium and Extra WWE 2K26 (PS5) – out September 15 for Premium and Extra Ball x Pit (PS5) – out September 22 for Premium and Extra Slitterhead (PS4, PS5) – out September 22 for Premium and Extra Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (PS4, PS5) – out September 29 for Premium and Extra Dungeons Of Hinterberg (PS4, PS5) – out September 29 for Premium and Extra Sniper Elite: Resistance (PS4, PS5) – out September 29 for Premium and Extra After a controversial price hike that saw many users cancel their PlayStation Plus subscription, the Essential tier (which lets players access a select number of games) currently costs £7.99 a month. Extra is available for £11.99 a month and gives subscribers access to Game Catalogue, a library of “hundreds of games from genre-defining blockbusters to innovative indies”. Premium adds more classic titles and game trials to the offering for £14.99 a month. Players are also threatening to cancel their PlayStation Plus memberships following the announcement that Sony will be scrapping physical releases from early 2028. In other news, Hideo Kojima has revealed that PlayStation cancelled his Metal Gear-inspired action-espionage game Physint before the project was saved by Xbox.Recommended
