There are just a few days to go until Sony announces the latest batch of titles arriving to its PlayStation Plus library for August. However, as is traditional fashion, one of those games has already been leaked ahead of its 4 August release. On 28 July, the PlayStation Plus Essential tier will welcome three major games to its service, which Extra and Premium subscribers will also have access to. Whilst two of those games are still unknown, the third has been leaked. At the moment, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, Dying Light, Snow Bros. Wonderland, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector are the freebies up for grabs, but another three are set to join, including this 4 August release. The game in question is Big Walk, a co-op multiplayer adventure game "about teamwork and talking" which has been compared to the likes of Peak, which took the gaming sphere by storm just last year. Set to launch on 4 August, PlayStation has got itself a day-one exclusive as was promised earlier this year. From developer House House, the creators of Untitled Goose Game, and publisher Panic, Big Walk will allow players to "hang out and get lost with close friends in a big world." Set across a vast open world, gameplay will consist of solving puzzles, uncovering challenges, and exploring as players work together to find their way around and stay in contact using a variety of tools and resources. Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk. Featuring a proximity voice chat system which will need players to stay together if they wish to be heard, "expressive arms" which allow you to gesticulate, point and wave to get your point across, and tools and toys to help you along the way, including "Walkie-talkies, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, flares, whiteboards (?), cowbells (??), a big golden head (???) and more." Whether you play with two or 12 players, Big Walk is guaranteed to offer hours of chaos thanks to the help of cross-play and a flexible player count and now, it is heading to the PlayStation Plus library as a day one release. If you are not a PlayStation user, the game is also available on Steam and the Nintendo Switch 2.
