Police received multiple 911 calls from concerned viewers who reported that the TV star was in severe distress during a livestream. A family insider told the Daily Mail: “He’s a man in a lot of pain. Emergency dispatch audio has since revealed the tense hours leading up to his rescue, as police attempted to make contact with him. In one dispatch recording, two men can be heard discussing a “man down call” involving a “live streamer” who was broadcasting himself while in severe distress, leaving viewers “upset”. Police are believed to have arrived at Hilton’s rental home at around 7.10 pm and spent several hours trying to make contact with him while speaking with concerned relatives. A second dispatch recording, obtained by The U.S. Sun and timestamped at around 10.41pm, shows operators later classifying the incident as a reported “suicide attempt” while requesting additional assistance. At around 11pm, officers said they were entering the home. Hilton was transported to hospital minutes later. Earlier this year, Hilton spent three weeks in hospital after battling sepsis, amid a series of health problems including an ulcer and blood clot. The illnesses were reportedly linked to taking flu medication on an empty stomach.
