NZ Warriors scrape home with lucky win over Eels

The Warriors have made it three wins from four matches with a frantic 14-12 victory over the Parramatta Eels in their NRLW clash Sydney today.They had to do it in the hard way, after being down 12-4 in the 40th minute.They fought back to a take a two point lead but then things went awry as they lost a player to the bin with four minutes to go and the Eels started to make big inroads against a struggling defence.In the dying seconds the Eels looked to have stolen the game as Zali Fay went over in the left corner after an overlap but the officials ruled the final pass was forward and the home side's celebrations turned to despair.The Warriors lacked the fluency of their play in their 42-4 win over the North Queensland Cowboys last weekend against opponents looking for their first win of the season.But Patricia Maliepo's try in the 51st minute got them back on track, and Tysha Ikenasio handed the Eels a double blow just three minutes later.The score stayed at 14-12 there, with the Warriors scraping in for a fortunate win.See how the game unfolded below:
