NOTTINGHAM FOREST ace Dan Ndoye was left with a bloody nose during the Premier League clash with Aston Villa following a freak accident. Ndoye, 25, helped Forest pick up their first victory of the season with a dramatic 2-1 win over Unai Emery’s men at Villa Park. Ndoye bled so heavily that Forest physios had to immediately replace the patching they initially placed on him. The forward was able to continue but his patches on both nostrils absorbed an immense amount of blood as the game developed. The ex-Bologna star came off on 76 minutes when he was replaced by Igor Jesus. And that proved to be a very wise move from Glasner in the second half as Forest’s opener had just been cancelled out. Forest opened the scoring with £50million record signing Liam Delap, who netted his first goal for his new team with a fine finish from distance. However, Villa hit back and scored their first Premier League goal of the season with summer signing Alysson, who also broke his duck. Daniel Munoz and Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White switched the ball well and the latter found the striker with a beautiful back-heel. And the Brazil international beat Zion Suzuki with a clinical shot to seal the three points for Forest just two minutes before full-time. The visitors picked up their first win at Villa Park since 1994 and got some revenge from last season’s Europa League semi-final elimination.
