But no, it was just an accidental forearm from Dan Ballard that didn't even connect that hard.It doesn't take long for Gabriel to go from incapacitated to being able to moan at the ref...CHANCE! Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal Brian Brobbey, my word. That man just can't be wrestled off the ball, no matter how hard defenders try.Ezri Konsa thinks he has the better of teh striker, but then Brobbey just goes up a gear and wrestles the ball back before setting Enzo Le Fee away. The move ends up with Noah Sadiki having a go, but it's miles over the bar.Sunderland 0-0 ArsenalNearly a perfect start to the second half for Sunderland. The Black Cats have come roaring out of the traps here, and Thomas Meunier has an effort blocked. Here's to hoping we get a more attacking half from both teams...SECOND HALF: Sunderland 0-0 ArsenalHere come the boos.Mikel Arteta has made a couple of changes, and one of them is former Geordie Bruno Guimaraes, who does not get a very warm welcome. Both he and Jurrien Timber come on for Myles Lewis-Skelly and the injured Ben White. And off we go again.'Sunderland very physical'Isaan Khan at Stadium of Light: Sunderland have been very physical and will continue in this manner. Though Arsenal look to be slowly eroding the opposition backline.Arsenal go top... as things standThey may not be winning, but still, Arsenal are going top as things stand. However, that would mean that they'd have to hope for a Manchester United win tomorrow to stay there...The Gunners will want to get the job done in this second half.'Saka should have punished Sunderland'Martin Keown, former Arsenal defender, on TNT Sports:Saka really should be punishing them there. That is something you need: that ruthlessness in front of goal. He needs to concentrate when that ball comes in.Black Cats purringCredit to Sunderland there. The Black Cats gave as good as they got in that first half; they were incredibly threatening for large parts of it.Brian Brobbey and Enzo Le Fee have been causing the Gunners' back line all sorts of problems - Ezri Konsa has been given a right run around. But still, they haven't got anything to show for that display... yet.HALF-TIME: Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal Ohhh, what a chance. With the very last kick of the half, Arsenal come within an inch of taking the lead.Kai Havertz looks set to head home from three yards out, but Granit Xhaka's dangling heel hooks the ball away in front of him.And then goes the whistle. An enjoyable stalemate.ONE added minuteThere is going to be one minute of stoppage time.It looks like Ben White has injured his groin here, so I don't imagine he will come out after the break.CLOSE! Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal This is good stuff.Sunderland have really got going here and now Enzo Le Fee comes close for them. The resulting corner ends up in the path of the attacking midfielder, and he just decides to have a pop. I mean, why not? It's a decent effort, but it flies past the post.Sunderland 0-0 ArsenalOhhhhh, stop that!Nilson Angulo, that is saucy. He rinses Ben White before making his way into the box, and going over under pressure. That's never a penalty, though, and Sunderland end up winning a corner through Thomas Meunier. That has really got this crowd going.Key UpdatesHALF-TIME: Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal KICK-OFF: Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal Arsenal Team News - Calafiori RETURNSSunderland Team News - UNCHANGEDShowstopper in Sunderland TOP STORIESA goal drought of SIX HOURS, no wins this season and £320m spent...
