NEWCASTLE fans are convinced that Ivan Toney will be the club’s first transfer following Eddie Howe’s shock exit. The English manager has left St James’ Park after five years following the 4-1 pre-season defeat to Bristol City. And with that news, fans have made their prediction that Toney will be his first signing at the club. Jaissle has worked with Toney in Saudi Arabia, and they have won two AFC Champions League titles in Asia. One fan posted: “Ivan Toney to Newcastle is nailed on BTW.” A second commented: “Is he going to bring Ivan Toney back to Newcastle?” A third wrote: “Anyone with any money worth gambling – stick it all on Ivan Toney moving to Newcastle.
