The 38-year-old has worked at Chelsea, Tottenham, and Aston Villa. Rogers said: “He has helped me massively, sometimes without me even realising, just from living with him day to day. “He is always challenging my decisions, challenging what I’m thinking naturally. “The person he is helps me become a better person. “It helps me understand myself more, which is so important because you can get lost and a bit stuck if things don’t go your way. “All players go through so much. People might forget that we’re humans at the end of the day, so disappointment for us is the same as disappointment for anyone else. Not just him, all my family, but living with him, I obviously get the benefits, so it’s really nice.” Daniel’s company website, Belgrave Mind, features advice centred around evolving therapy, stress, depression, with a toolkit to help anyone who is interested. Speaking to The Athletic in 2024, Daniel said: “If you break your arm, you don’t think: ‘I am going to just fix it myself’. “You go see a specialist and get your arm sorted. In football, you get an injury looked at the same day. “So why don’t we give ourselves the same level of care when it comes to mental health? “I believe the narrative is changing, but not as fast as it needs to. “When I introduce myself as ‘Daniel Belgrave — I’m a therapist’, you can still see the reaction. “There is still a stigma attached to therapy, especially among men.” The Chelsea Blueprint on YouTube Calling all Chelsea fans - we have a brand new YouTube channel!
