However, it also took some time to revisit the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box, something that Microsoft says fans have been asking for ever since it was revealed back in June during Build. The announcement was pretty brief and consisted of two key points. First, the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box will run on Project Zenith, which Microsoft described as "a ready-to-code Windows experience, pre-configured out of the box so you can build from day one." We heard about this back in early September, and it seems Microsoft is ready to begin shipping units with it. Second, the price tag. This piece of kit will set you back $5,999, and it's easy to see why. It's running off an Nvidia RTX Spark N1X with a 6144-core GPU and a 20-core CPU. It also comes with 128 GB of memory and a 2 TB SSD to keep everything running smoothly.
