And his productive World Cup made sense, as he was coming off his best ever season at club level, recording nine goals in both the Premier League and the Conference League. His exploits in Europe led to him being named Player of the Tournament. And while he’s been linked to United in the past, this could be the summer for Sarr, who is entering the prime years of his football career.
