Man Utd goalkeeper Altay Bayindir stays away from club ahead of transfer

Bayindir was culpable for goals in the defeats to Arsenal, Manchester City and Brentford. Senne Lammens is firmly established as the United No.1 and the club completed the signing of back-up ‘keeper Karl Darlow last week. Third choice Tom Heaton signed a new one-year deal and academy goalie Dermot Mee even received a renewal. Amad and Bayindir would not have been in contention to appear in United’s pre-season friendly against Rosenborg in Norway on Friday had they returned this week. Comment now
