NewsUK News A MAN accused of murdering a 58-year-old woman who was found with severe wounds in a tower block has died in custody. He was next due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 27 August. Tracey Davenport’s family previously paid tribute to her after she was pronounced dead at the scene on July 24. She was described as a “beautiful, kind, caring mother, sister, aunty, nana, niece and daughter.” In a tribute her grieving family said: “Tracy would help anybody and put everybody before herself. “She would give you her last penny. Most read in The Sun “You will be forever loved and missed forever more. “There are no words to describe the void this tragedy has left and can never again be filled.” West Yorkshire Police were initially called to the flats after receiving a report of concern for people inside one of the homes. After arriving at the scene officers discovered Tracy’s body. The 58 year old’s family continue to be supported by specialist officers in the wake of her tragic death. Enquires into the murder remain ongoing with the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team leading the probe. The Sun has contacted the Ministry of Justice for comment.
