Mahindra Scorpio N facelift interior spied ahead of likely August 14 debut

Ahead of its anticipated debut, fresh spy photographs have revealed the clearest production-spec look yet at the SUV's cabin, highlighting a significantly upgraded interior with a stronger focus on technology and comfort.The biggest change inside is the introduction of a new free-standing infotainment touchscreen, which appears to be borrowed from the Thar Roxx. Alongside it is an all-digital instrument cluster, replacing the semi-digital setup seen in the current Scorpio N. While Mahindra is yet to confirm the specifications, both displays are expected to measure 10.25 inches, similar to the Thar Roxx.The dashboard layout remains familiar, but several elements have been redesigned. The centre air vents have been repositioned below the infotainment screen, while the switchgear beneath the climate control panel has been replaced with a new toggle-style layout. Mahindra has also retained physical controls for key functions, a move that should improve usability while driving. The centre console continues to house the gear lever, cupholders and an electronic parking brake.The spy images also suggest that Mahindra will retain the existing brown-and-black dual-tone cabin theme, although the refreshed dashboard and larger displays give the interior a more premium appearance. The facelift is expected to feature a revised grille with horizontal slats, updated front bumper, tweaked lighting elements and a fresh set of alloy wheels.The side profile remains largely unchanged, retaining the chrome window garnish with the signature scorpion-tail-inspired finish, silver roof rails and body cladding. At the rear, the LED tail-lamps appear to have been carried over from the current model.Powertrain options likely to remain unchangedMahindra is unlikely to make significant mechanical changes with the facelift. The SUV is expected to continue with its existing engine lineup.The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine develops 203bhp and produces 370Nm with the six-speed manual gearbox or 380Nm with the six-speed torque-converter automatic.The 2.2-litre diesel engine will likely continue in two states of tune. Lower variants produce 132bhp and 300Nm, while higher trims generate 175bhp with up to 400Nm when paired with the six-speed automatic. A 4WD system with a low-range transfer case is also expected to remain available on select diesel variants.Expected launch and priceMahindra is widely expected to unveil the Scorpio N facelift on August 14, 2026.
