A MAJOR motorway is currently closed after reports of a collision, prompting hour long delays and a major police response. The M6 northbound carriageway currently remains blocked between junction 35 and junction 36. Cumbria Police and Lancashire Police are both on scene following the accident earlier this afternoon at around 12:45pm. Drivers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.
