Lorry brushes against KTR's car on way to public meeting, BRS leader escapes unhurt

BRS working president KT Rama Rao escaped unhurt after a lorry brushed against his car while he was travelling to a public meeting in Karimnagar.The incident took place after KTR stopped at Algunur, where party workers and supporters welcomed him. He then returned to his car and resumed the journey.A lorry travelling alongside subsequently struck the vehicle, damaging one of its doors. KTR was inside the car at the time but did not suffer any injuries.The incident is the latest in a series of road mishaps involving vehicles carrying KTR or travelling in his convoy. Last month, two cars in his convoy collided near Station Ghanpur in Jangaon district after the convoy braked suddenly.The two trailing vehicles suffered front and rear damage. BRS MLC Shambhipur Raju, who was travelling in one of them, sustained a minor hand injury and was given first aid. KTR stopped the convoy and checked on Raju before the leaders continued their journey to Kannepalli.In November 2023, KTR and other BRS leaders lost their balance while campaigning aboard an open vehicle after its driver applied the brakes suddenly.The protective railing broke, causing some of the leaders to topple.
