Victoria line severe delaysThe Victoria line is operating with severe delays on Wednesday morning due to a track fault at Highbury & Islington. Tube passengers reported being advertised to use alternative routes during rush hour due to overcrowding on Victoria line platforms.A TfL spokesman said tickets are being accepted on London buses. He also pointed to other train services available on the Weaver and Suffragette lines, Great Northern, Thameslink, Greater Anglia, South Western Railway and Southeastern, taking any reasonable route to complete a journey during the delays.Northern line part suspensionA spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) confirmed there was a casualty on the track on Wednesday morning near Highgate station on the High Barnet branch of the Northern line. Southbound trains are not running between East Finchley and Archway as a result. Northbound trains are able to travel through the station but passengers are unable to alight. TfL said it expected Highgate station to remain closed until at least 11am. Tickets are being accepted on local bus services, a spokesman for the transport authority said.
