LIST: Road closures in Manila for Sunday’s UPI rally

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila city government on Friday advised motorists to plan their trips ahead as several major roads and bridges will be closed for the United People’s Initiative (UPI) rally on Sunday. In an advisory, the road closures in the following areas will take effect 6 p.m. Saturday, with motorists urged to take designated alternate routes to avoid traffic disruptions. Recto Avenue to the point of destination. All vehicles coming from España Boulevard intending to use the southbound lane of Quezon Boulevard (Quezon Bridge) shall turn left on Nicanor Reyes Street to C. M. Recto Avenue to the point of destination. Ayala Bridge All vehicles coming from Romualdez Street intending to use Ayala Bridge shall turn left on Ayala Boulevard, then turn right on Taft Avenue to point of destination or shall go straight to Natividad Lopez Street, then turn right on A.
