Kaitlyn Bristowe Defends Sharna Burgess, Claims Brian Austin Green “Humiliated” Her Amid Big ‘DWTS’ Return

Sharna Burgess returned to Dancing With the Stars after five years away, partnering with Tyler Cameron. Her fiancé Brian Austin Green posted cryptic social media messages that suggested he’s been feeling lonely without her.Season 29 winner Kaitlyn Bristowe defended Sharna on her podcast, criticizing Brian for “publicly shaming” his fiancée on social media. Here’s what went down.In case you haven’t been keeping up with Dancing With the Stars this season, Sharna Burgess is officially back as a pro dancer for the first time in five years. It’s definitely something to celebrate, especially since the season 27 champ is killing it with her current partner, Tyler Cameron. However, another Bachelor Nation alum has spoken out to defend the dancer after her fiancé, Brian Austin Green, made some questionable comments while she’s training at the studio. DWTS season 29 winner Kaitlyn Bristowe had some things to say about Brian’s recent social media activity during the October 8 episode of her Off the Vine podcast.“He was saying how hard it is that Sharna is not there with him every day, and she’s with Tyler every day,” she explained, speculating that his message had some underlying feelings about Sharna’s return to DWTS. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, I feel like he humiliated her on his social media, made her feel bad.’ He was basically saying, ‘You’re never home. I am all alone. And, like, you’re spending every day with Tyler.’”Elsewhere during her pod, Kaitlyn said he wasn’t truly alone, since he has five children between Sharna and his exes, Megan Fox and Vanessa Marcil.“Maybe go to your therapist and not social media and shame your [fiancée] while she’s working her ass off and, like, got invited back to do her dream job,” the Bachelor Nation alum shared. “You have time to go to the movies alone? How luxurious. Why are you here? Why are you saying all of this?”Earlier in the season, Brian shared a cryptic video in which he admitted he was lonely and hadn’t “had a good couple days.” Without explicitly mentioning Sharna’s DWTS return, he emphasized he went to the movies alone and expressed that he’ll “be okay.”Upon seeing the clip, fans speculated he might be having a hard time adjusting to his daily routine without his fiancée’s constant presence. While some called him out in his comments for being “unfair” to Sharna during her big comeback, others offered comfort and reassured him that time alone could be a good thing, too.In 2022, Sharna opted out of participating in DWTS season 31 to build her family with Brian and welcome their son, Zane Walker Green. After some well-deserved family time, she admitted she was “shocked” when they didn’t ask her back for season 32.It seems things have cooled down now that she’s officially back in the ballroom for another shot at the mirrorball trophy, five years after she last competed with Brian!
