‘I’m living in a ball of fear’, admits new Strictly presenter Josh Widdicombe as co-host appears to show ‘regret’

Strictly Coming Dancing’s Josh Widdicombe says he’s “living in a ball of fear” ahead of the first live show. The presenter appeared on The One Show tonight with his co-hosts Johannes Radebe and Emma Willis – and one of them appeared to have major regrets. Josh said: “It’s nerve-racking because it feels like we’ve been waiting for so long to do this and for this to go out. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! “I’ve been living in a ball of fear, I think that’s fair to say, but since we’ve done the launch show, I just want people to see it, because we had the best time.” Teasing their different roles on the show, former professional dancer Johannes said: “What’s lovely is the fact that you won’t get to know exactly what our roles are on this launch show, but I say people should tune in because that’s the most exciting part… it’s different!” However, when asked by The One Show presenter Roman Kemp if there is a part of Johannes that just wants to jump out there and get involved, he admitted: “Every single time… the FOMO is real!” Emma revealed the new hosts will have their own dance to perform, telling viewers how Johannes has been giving them both lessons. She has been practising at home alongside her Busted star husband Matt, telling viewers: “I like to be thorough, so JoJo had been teaching us. “I was going around the supermarket with a trolley. Most read in Showbiz “I made made Matt learn it with me. I sent it to JoJo to ask if it was right!” Emma also teased a new format of “speed dancing” between this year’s contestants – but fans will have to wait until the new series launches on Saturday.
