Heavy rainfall warning up over parts of C. Luzon Wednesday afternoon

MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Luzon may experience heavy rainfall on Wednesday afternoon due to the continued effects of the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” according to the state weather bureau. In a weather advisory issued at 2 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) placed Zambales, Pampanga, Bataan, and Tarlac under yellow rainfall warning.
