Published: 09:53 EDT, 29 September 2026 | Updated: 09:55 EDT, 29 September 2026 A private bar, champagne and a la carte dining options... it's a dreamy way to start any journey – but it comes with a hefty price. DiamondAir, an airport concierge service, has launched a brand new lounge concept at Heathrow Airport. The Lounge is dubbed the very first private, remote check-in space, something which DiamondAir says is 'designed to extend the airport experience beyond the terminal'.Travellers barely have to lift a finger – their luggage is pre-collected and transported through the airport baggage system for them, while they sit back and enjoy runway views. So what's the catch? Unlike other lounges, which are typically located after duty free, the exclusive space is not actually inside the airport at all – but can be found just a few minutes' drive outside. From the point of entering the lounge, the journey through the airport is fully coordinated by DiamondAir, which takes guests from The Lounge to the terminal and all the way to their aircraft. An electric buggy is also available to book. DiamondAir has launched The Lounge, set to open on October 1 For £340, guests have access to the lounge as well as a meet-and-assist serviceThe first-class service, however, could set you back £340 according to The Times, which includes access to the lounge (£195 per person) and meet-and-assist (£145 per person). A private chauffeur to the lounge would also cost around £150 from central London. Once inside, long-haul travellers looking to catch up on sleep between their next flight can also opt for a treatment at the KarmAir wellness spa, which offers everything from massages to jet-lag revival treatments.During the day, an à la carte menu is served up. Breakfast features Oak Smoked Salmon Blinis, indulgent DiamondAir French Toast and the signature DiamondAir Bloody Mary Tray.Meanwhile, for lunch, guests can tuck into the En Route Club Sandwich, a refreshing Baby Gem & Walnut Salad and a selection of lounge snacks. The bar is fully stocked with free-flowing Veuve Clicquot, a selection of wines, cocktails and soft drinks. There's also a coffee machine. Plus, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto Terminals two and three, passengers have undisrupted views of all the runway action. During the day, an à la carte menu is served up for guests of The LoungeThere's only enough space for 30 people at one time, so it provides a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle in the airport. Christina Lawford, founder and CEO of DiamondAir, said: 'The Lounge was conceived directly from our experience of looking after travellers in airports for more than 30 years. 'We understand where the pressure points are, and how much of the airport journey can be taken out of the passenger's hands. 'We wanted to create a boutique space away from the crowds where the journey starts with us – where our team knows the flight, understands the timings and takes care of what needs to happen next.'The Lounge opens on October 1.
