Most-played games range from Clair Obscur to Civ to Elden Ring to Halo 2 and beyond. Halo: Campaign Evolved players are finally diving into the remake and seeing what's so different from the original Halo: CE from back in the day. If you're really eager to see how things have changed, you don't have much of a choice other than to start tracking down some Skulls, seeing as these are how just about all the new features in the game are accessed. Each mission in Halo: Campaign Evolved includes three unique Skulls, all with their own designated gameplay-altering mechanics that either make the experience easier or much harder. Once players reach the Assault on the Control Room Mission, they'll finally be able to access three essential Skulls: IWHBYD, Angry, and Cowbell, a fan-favorite Skull that messes with the game's physics. All Assault On The Control Room Skull Locations In Assault on the Control Room, players will be able to find the first Skull, IWHBYD, is found after reaching Rally Point Bravo and can be collected in one of several ways. It's found after crossing the bridge, all the way down to your left in a small crevice. If you don't have the Acrophobia Skull yet, which unlocks the ability to fly, you can drive the Scorpion or a Wraith across the bridge and use them as a jumping up point. The second Skull in the mission is found after reaching Rally Point Charlie, where after you exit the ice cave with a Covenant Drop Ship at the top, you will see three spine-looking structures that serve as a bridge in the middle of the map. Before going onward to the waypoint, go to the third bridge-piece and climb up top. The Skull is sitting there and pretty easy to spot. Skull Rally Point Difficulty Location Effect Image IWHBYD Bravo Any After crossing the bridge with (or without) the Scorpion, go left to the end of the platform. There's a small crevice with the skull that can be reached by jumping on top of the Scorpion (or by flying with the Acrophobia Skull turned on). Unlocks rare dialogue. Angry Charlie Any Before entering the structure to your right after exiting the ice cave, there will be three bridges on your left. Go to the third bridge and climb on top for the Skull. Enemies fire faster and more frequently. Cowbell Echo Any After exiting a room through a green door, you'll go outside to a large bridge with a few Banshees on it and a massive light-beam structure. Drop down under the bridge about midway and the Skull is underneath. Reduced object mass increases physics effects. The final Skull, Cowbell, is found after reaching Rally Point Echo and exiting through the green door to the bridge where the Banshees are parked. Before getting into a Banshee or ascending up the level, you can jump underneath the bridge about halfway across. There's a small tunnel with the Skull sitting on a pile of rocks underneath it. All Assault On The Control Room Skull Effects Each Skull on Assault on the Control Room is well worth grabbing, though for different reasons. For starters, IWHBYD unlocks some hilarious dialogue and is a staple of the Halo franchise, with a history dating back to Halo 2 in 2004. Short for "I Would Have Been Your Daddy," the Skull dramatically increases the chances of hearing rare, alternate voice lines from Marines, Covenant enemies, and other NPCs, making repeat playthroughs far more entertaining. It's also a required Skull to unlock the LASO difficulty setting (Legendary All Skulls On). Angry, on the other hand, is a great Skull option for those looking for an additional challenge, while Cowbell is a fan-favorite Skull that dates back to Halo 3, but also made appearances as a modifier for ODST, Reach, Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, and Halo Infinite. It essentially causes enemies to go flying like ragdolls, significantly increasing the impact of physics from explosions, melee, etc. All three Halo: Campaign Evolved Skulls in Assault on the Control Room are well worth tracking down and make the experience way more fun.
