Groups demand release of 51 Sona protesters

MANILA, Philippines — Rights and activist groups on Monday called for the release of 51 protesters who were arrested by the police for different violations, including vandalism and covering their faces, on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, near the Batasang Pambansa complex where President Marcos delivered his State of the Nation (Sona) Address before Congress.
