Former Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim ‘set to raid Chelsea for shock defensive transfer with Blues set to make massive LOSS’

AC MILAN boss Ruben Amorim is plotting a potential Premier League raid this summer for want-away Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, reports say. TalkSPORT suggest that Roma are also keen on him with a price tag set at around £25million. Chelsea paid nearly £40million for the centre-back in 2023 when he arrived from Monaco. They are looking at a huge loss on the five-cap international now, though, with Disasi trying to revive his career with a true exit from Stamford Bridge. SunSport understands there is also interest in Disasi from France and that he is not currently involved in Xabi Alonso‘s pre-season preparation at Cobham. The ex-Aston Villa loanee is focused on finding a new home having spent the first half of last year training alone or with the club’s Under-21s. West Ham enquired about taking him on again but Disasi did not want to play in the Championship. Amorim, who was appointed by Milan earlier this year, has already brought in Goncalo Ramos from PSG. He has been linked with a reunion with Noussair Mazraoui from Old Trafford as well. Disasi has played 61 times for Chelsea but not since January 1, 2025. He has 58 Prem appearances to his name including 17 at West Ham and 10 at Villa.
