Erika and Blake were one of the many (many!) couples to end Love Is Blind Season 11 without getting married, and apparently there was more to their split than we saw on screen. The show’s finale gave viewers a brief glimpse at Erika and Blake ending their relationship seemingly due to logistical issues: he wanted to live on a boat and sail around the world, while she wanted to live in a house and start a family. But Erika says there were some other red flags.“I was like, ‘There’s no way this guy’s broke.’ He’s got a career and not a lot of bills from what I heard. So the math wasn’t really mathing,” she told Tudum. “Those are questions that maybe I was too afraid to ask at the beginning. They’re very sensitive and personal. But I remember him being so cool about [finances] that it almost felt like he did have money in the moment. He wasn’t sweating about it at all.”She added that “Finances are something that, over time, you start to see some patterns and traits. Like, ‘What credit cards are they using? Are they paying with cash?’”On top of that, Erika felt like she hadn’t really gotten to experience Blake’s world and didn’t know what she was jumping into. She literally thought to herself, “‘I can’t marry you, I haven’t seen enough of your life,’” adding, “It just started to feel really dangerous to get any closer to the wedding having already been through a divorce.”Love Is Blind was filmed over a year ago, and if you’re wondering where things stand with these two now...we have spoilers below!
