Emmys Presenters: Matthew McConaughey, Shailene Woodley and ‘Baywatch’ Reboot Stars Join Lineup

Matthew McConaughey and Shailene Woodley — as well as a selection of Fox’s “Baywatch” reboot stars — are among the names set to present at Monday night’s 78th Emmys on NBC and Peacock. Also joining the Emmys presenters lineup are stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephen Amell, Awkwafina, Noah Beck, Jessica Belkin, Scott Caan, Emma D’Arcy, Julia Garner, LL Cool J, Woody Harrelson, Hassie Harrison, Paul Anthony Kelly, Thaddeus LaGrone, John Mulaney, Brooks Nader, Emmy Rossum and Sofía Vergara. Belkin, Harrison, LaGrone, Amell, Beck, and Nader all star in the forthcoming reboot of the iconic 1989 show. Popular on Variety Woodley recently took home her first Emmy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sept. 6, winning the award for guest actress in a drama series for her portrayal of Annie Clay in Hulu’s “Paradise.” Curtis was nominated for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for her role in FX’s “The Bear.” As previously reported by Variety, these stars join the already announced presenter line-up, which includes Odessa A’zion, Linda Cardellini, Macaulay Culkin, Alan Cumming, Sally Field, Jon Hamm, David Harbour, Marcello Hernández, Peter Krause, Dan Levy, Julianna Margulies, Annie Murphy, Niecy Nash-Betts, Keke Palmer, Amanda Peet, Amy Poehler, Florence Pugh, Rachel Sennott and Zendaya. David Boreanaz and Sarah Michelle Gellar will be representing “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary, as will Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith for the 50th anniversary of “Charlie’s Angels.” Musician Noah Kahan will perform “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during the show’s In Memoriam segment. Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment and Mariska Hargitay will serve as executive producers of the 78th Emmy Awards. As previously announced, Hargitay will host the evening.
