EASTENDERS star Charlie Brooks is returning to the BBC soap as evil killer Janine Butcher. The actress, 45, has filmed scenes for an explosive storyline this autumn which could be linked to the show’s Christmas Day episode. Janine, who gave birth to Mick’s son behind bars, was sentenced to five years in jail for perverting the course of justice by framing Mick’s ex-wife Linda Carter for a drink-driving crash.
